Add a rule-breaking sexiness to your look with fishnet tights.
Girls, the more we wear sexy shoes, the more confident and upright our stride becomes. But the other details we use in that look matter a great deal too. For example, there is a very sexy piece that we shy away from and push to the back of the drawer: fishnet tights.

This sexy detail came to be associated with Marlene Dietrich. In fact, thanks to Marlene, it broke out of the purely “sexy” mould, at least to some extent.
So how can we style this piece in the best way?
First, a word of caution: while trying to look beautiful and alluring, our legs can end up looking thicker. Let’s not forget that risk. Even more important than the outfits we pair with fishnet tights is choosing the fishnet to suit the shape of your legs.
When choosing fishnet tights
if you have short or fuller legs, opt for fishnets with a small, fine mesh. This will help you achieve a more flattering look. If, on the other hand, your legs are very slim, fishnets with a larger mesh will suit you.
For example, when you are going somewhere special, you can easily wear fishnet tights with a miniskirt or mini dress. You can also wear fishnets with mini dresses in your street style. But if you want to stand out, go for a twist. Choose flat or more masculine shoes, or over-the-knee boots. That way you will strike the right balance, and you will also offset, to a degree, the femininity that fishnets bring.

Combining two strong pieces may seem difficult. But you can actually achieve a masculine look by wearing fishnets with pencil skirts, and create a distinctive style at the same time. With ankle-length tailored trousers, instead of showing your bare ankle, try letting your fishnet tights peek out. You’ll notice how elegant it looks. And don’t think in just one colour, because many different colours, in the right combinations, can reveal the chic you are looking for.
I think I mentioned that you can bring fishnets into your street style without any fear. If I had to put my finger on one point here: fishnet tights may not make you look like a true street-style queen. But with very different pieces, they can turn you into a sexy woman.
