I’ve called this post “Shine!” because this week I want to help you with how to wear shiny accessories, shoes, bags and hats.
The key is sparkle in the right dose, right? There’s no need to walk around like a disco ball.
Personally, I really love hats, earrings and berets with sparkly stones or beads. Could it be because I’m a Leo? No, no, I don’t think so; it’s really my soul that loves them.
What’s more, stones, sequins and embellished accessories are everywhere in fashion.
In fact, right now you can even come across them in everyday pieces.
During the day, I wear a plain T-shirt with simple, straight jeans. Then I slip on my glittering Adidas trainers and head out the door.
The result?
Perfect, although everyone is so busy looking at the sparkle on my feet that they can’t look at the rest of me. But never mind.
You can put together an outfit like that and go for trainers like those too.
You might not be able to find the Adidas ones, because they released a special edition a few months ago. You know how it is: Adidas editions come and go.
But don’t worry, girls, you can find shiny trainers everywhere right now anyway.
Shall we put together an outfit with a dress?
Again, for daytime.
Let’s go for a lovely little dress, and let it be white (I’m a girl who’s madly in love with black and white).
Let’s dry our hair for a voluminous look (natural).
For shoes, let’s choose black and white Converse.
Pretty necklaces around our neck.
Finally, for a bag, let’s pick a medium-sized embellished style. Let it have a long strap, and let’s sling it over our right arm.
Come on, let’s go now, wherever we want to go.
I adore unexpected twists like this. Believe me, you’ll love it too…
An outfit for the evening
Now on to the evening.
Do we really have to wear a miniskirt when we go out at night? Do we really only draw attention when our cleavage and legs are on show?
I absolutely disagree!
Because to me, a mysterious woman is always more attractive…
Believe me, it’s the same for men. In fact, I asked most of my male friends, and that was the answer from all of them.
For example, when going out at night, let’s wear white high-waisted jeans. On top, let’s wear a pretty, white, thin turtleneck jumper that shows half of our waist (not our belly button)…
For shoes, let’s wear black over-the-knee sock boots and pull them up over our jeans… What’s more, it’s an incredible trend right now.
Now you’re asking, where are the embellished, sequinned accessories, right?
Calm down.
Let’s put a black sequinned hat on our head so that mysterious-girl mode kicks in.
Let’s go for red lipstick, because our lips will clearly be more visible than our eyes.
And a simple bag in hand, and we’re done; off to R&B we go.
But if they hand you a microphone and pull you up on stage, I can’t say what happens.
Still, I hope your voice and your dancing are good.
