The fashion week calendar is the year’s roadmap for anyone who wants to keep a finger on the industry’s pulse. The table and city notes below let you follow the major fashion weeks and Istanbul at a glance.

Last updated: 3 November 2026. This page brings together the 2026–2027 dates of the Istanbul, Paris, Milan, London and New York fashion weeks in a single table. We have taken every date from the relevant organisation’s own announcement: the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (FHCM) for Paris, the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI) for Milan, the British Fashion Council (BFC) for London, the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) for New York and the Istanbul Hazır Giyim ve Konfeksiyon İhracatçıları Birliği (IHKIB, the Istanbul Apparel Exporters’ Association) for Istanbul. Where a date has not been announced by an official source, we have written “not yet announced” rather than guessing. We will also update the table as new announcements come in.

    What is a fashion week?

A fashion week is an organised series of runway shows and presentations, lasting several days, in which designers and fashion houses present the next season’s collections to the press, buyers and the industry. In each city the calendar is drawn up by that country’s fashion body; the official schedule sets out which brand will show on which day and at what time.

Season names can confuse first-time followers. For example, the weeks held in February–March show Autumn/Winter (AW) collections, while those held in September–October show the following year’s Spring/Summer (SS) collections. So the shows you watch in Paris in September 2026 present the clothes that will reach stores in spring 2027.

The “Big Four” and fashion month

New York, London, Milan and Paris are known in the international press as the “Big Four”. These four cities line up back to back for women’s collections, and this roughly month-long period is called “fashion month”. The sequence usually opens with New York, continues with London and Milan and closes with Paris. The 2026 calendar followed this order too: New York began on 11 February and Paris ended on 10 March.

    Womenswear, menswear and haute couture

In Paris and Milan, men’s collections are shown in separate weeks, usually in January and June. Paris also hosts Haute Couture Week twice a year, in January and July, as part of the FHCM calendar. The main table in this guide focuses on the women’s weeks; we have given the men’s and couture dates in a separate table.

2026–2027 fashion week calendar (women’s collections)

    City Organising body Autumn/Winter 2026–27 (February–March 2026) Spring/Summer 2027 (September–October 2026) Autumn/Winter 2027–28 (2027)
New York CFDA 11–16 February 2026 10–15 September 2026 Not yet announced
London British Fashion Council 19–23 February 2026 17–21 September 2026 Not yet announced
    Milan Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana 24 February – 2 March 2026 22–28 September 2026 23 February – 1 March 2027
    Paris FHCM 2–10 March 2026 28 September – 6 October 2026 1–9 March 2027
Istanbul IHKIB Not announced by an official source Not announced by an official source Not yet announced

Note: The CFDA’s February and September 2026 schedules were published as “preliminary” schedules; individual show times may change. The BFC likewise announced its September 2026 schedule as a provisional schedule on 20 July 2026. For day and time details, always check the organisation’s latest schedule.

    Men’s and haute couture weeks

    Week Organisation 2026 2027
    Milano Moda Uomo (men’s) – Autumn/Winter CNMI 16–20 January 2026 15–19 January 2027
    Milano Moda Uomo (men’s) – Spring/Summer CNMI 19–23 June 2026 18–22 June 2027
    Paris Men’s – Autumn/Winter 2027–28 FHCM — 19–24 January 2027
    Paris Haute Couture – Spring/Summer 2027 FHCM — 25–28 January 2027
    Paris Men’s – Spring/Summer 2028 FHCM — 22–27 June 2027
    Paris Haute Couture – Autumn/Winter 2027–28 FHCM — 5–8 July 2027

The FHCM’s “Next seasons” page lists dates from 2027 onwards; because the 2026 men’s and couture weeks have been moved to the “previous editions” section of that page, we have included only the 2027 dates in the table. The same page also gives 27 September – 5 October 2027 as the dates for the Paris women’s Spring/Summer 2028 week.

The fashion calendar month by month: what happens through the year?

Rather than memorising dates one by one, knowing the rhythm of the year makes things easier. The cycle that emerges from the official dates above is as follows:

    • January: Men’s collections open the season. In 2027, Milano Moda Uomo (15–19 January) comes first, followed by Paris men’s week (19–24 January) and, straight after, Paris Haute Couture (25–28 January).
    • February: Fashion month begins for women’s Autumn/Winter collections. In 2026, New York opened on 11 February, with London taking over on 19 February and Milan on 24 February.
    • March: Paris women’s week closes fashion month (2–10 March in 2026, 1–9 March in 2027).
    • June: Time for men’s Spring/Summer collections. Milano Moda Uomo was held on 19–23 June in 2026; 18–22 June has been announced for 2027. Paris men’s week runs from 22 to 27 June in 2027.
    • July: Haute Couture Autumn/Winter week in Paris (5–8 July in 2027).
    • September – October: The second fashion month, for women’s Spring/Summer collections. In 2026, New York began on 10 September and Paris finished on 6 October.

This cycle also offers a roadmap for aspiring models and new designers: casting, styling and shoot preparations usually intensify in the weeks before these dates. Regional weeks in Türkiye, meanwhile, mostly fall in the spring and summer months; we have gathered them separately in the table below.

    City-by-city notes

    New York (CFDA)

According to the CFDA’s February 2026 schedule, the week opened on 11 February and closed on 16 February. The September 2026 week was held from 10 to 15 September; the CFDA announcement notes that Ralph Lauren presented its Spring 2027 collection on 9 September, one day before the official week. No date published by the CFDA for February 2027 is available as of this update.

    London (British Fashion Council)

The BFC announced the February 2026 week as 19–23 February and the September 2026 week as 17–21 September. The February 2027 date has not yet been announced by the BFC. London holds special significance for Turkish audiences: Turkish-British designer Bora Aksu regularly shows his collections during this week (see below).

Milan (Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana)

The CNMI’s website lists past and future editions together. The women’s Autumn/Winter 2026–27 week was held from 24 February to 2 March 2026, and the Spring/Summer 2027 week from 22 to 28 September 2026. The next women’s week (Autumn/Winter 2027–28) has been announced as 23 February – 1 March 2027; for the following Spring/Summer 2028 week, the dates given are 21–27 September 2027.

    Paris (FHCM)

The Paris women’s Autumn/Winter 2026–27 week was held from 2 to 10 March 2026, and the Spring/Summer 2027 week from 28 September to 6 October 2026. The FHCM has announced the 2027 women’s Autumn/Winter week as 1–9 March 2027. The federation’s website has a list of dates extending to 2029, making it the most forward-dated official source for anyone planning long-term travel and shoots.

Istanbul (Fashion Week Istanbul / IHKIB)

Fashion Week Istanbul is organised by the Istanbul Hazır Giyim ve Konfeksiyon İhracatçıları Birliği (IHKIB, the Istanbul Apparel Exporters’ Association). According to IHKIB’s own page, the event is held twice a year, for spring/summer and autumn/winter collections, and more than 20 designers show their collections each season. The English-language page states that the event has recently been held in digital or hybrid formats.

The Istanbul Moda Akademisi (IMA, Istanbul Fashion Academy) is among IHKIB’s affiliates. The academy’s role in the week is visible through showcases for young designers: an IHKIB news item from October 2021 lists the “New Gen by IMA” and “KARMA by IMA” groups among the participants. As an earlier example, the February 2012 edition was held in Taksim Tepebaşı, led by IHKIB in cooperation with the Moda Tasarımcıları Derneği (MTD, Fashion Designers Association), the Birleşmiş Markalar Derneği (BMD, United Brands Association) and IMA (Dünya newspaper).

For the 2026 and 2027 seasons, however, we found no published dates either on IHKIB’s pages or on the event’s official website, fashionweek.istanbul. The latest news on the official site dates from March 2022; a specification document published by IHKIB points to the 11–14 October 2022 edition. That is why we have written “not announced by an official source” for Istanbul in the table.

    Other fashion events in Türkiye

Event Type Latest known date Source
Antalya Fashion Week Regional fashion week (Emy Organizasyon) June 2026, 9th edition; closing on 4 June Yeni Birlik, 3 June 2026
Ankara Fashion Week Regional fashion week and design competition 3–15 June 2025 Atılım University
IFCO – Istanbul Fashion Connection Apparel trade fair (ITKIB Fuarcılık, an IHKIB affiliate) 19–21 August 2026 IFCO / fibre2fashion
Istanbul Modest Fashion Week Modest fashion week (Think Fashion) 25–27 April 2024 Yeni Birlik, 16 April 2024

IFCO is not a runway week but a trade fair that brings buyers and manufacturers together; even so, it is an important part of Istanbul’s fashion calendar. We were unable, however, to find an official announcement of 2026–2027 dates for Ankara Fashion Week and Istanbul Modest Fashion Week.

Turkish designers at international fashion weeks

    Dice Kayek (Paris)

According to the FHCM’s member page, Dice Kayek was founded in Paris in 1992 by sisters Ece and Ayşe Ege and has been a member of the federation since 1994. Its artistic director is Ece Ege. The federation’s page lists the label’s Autumn/Winter 2026–27 and Spring/Summer 2027 women’s collections. Hürriyet Daily News, moreover, introduces Ece Ege as a Turkish-French designer.

    Burç Akyol (Paris)

According to Numéro magazine, French-Turkish designer Burç Akyol showed his Autumn/Winter 2026–27 collection at the Institut du Monde Arabe on 2 March 2026, the first day of Paris Fashion Week. The magazine also writes that the collection reinterpreted the figure of the “Parisian woman” through Akyol’s French and Turkish heritage.

    Bora Aksu (London)

Introduced on his label’s own website as a Turkish-British designer, Bora Aksu presented his Autumn/Winter 2026 collection at London Fashion Week on 20 February 2026 (VRAI Magazine). The previous season’s collection had also been shown in London in September 2025.

In short, these examples show that Turkish designers’ entry into the international calendar does not follow a single path. Some take part in Paris through federation membership, others in London through independent shows. We will share the new Turkish names we follow in our Fashion Week category.

How to follow the fashion weeks

    1. First, save the official calendars: fhcm.paris, cameramoda.it, britishfashioncouncil.co.uk and cfda.com publish their schedules with show times. The schedules become clearer as the season approaches.
    2. Watch the livestreams too: Many fashion houses livestream their shows on their own websites and social media accounts. Mind the time difference: Paris and Milan are two hours behind Türkiye (in winter time), while New York is eight hours behind.
    3. Follow the designers’ accounts: Calendar changes, last-minute announcements and behind-the-scenes footage are shared first on the brands’ own channels.
    4. Read Turkish-language summaries as well: In Fresh Models Magazin’s Fashion Week category we round up the standout shows and Turkish designers in Turkish.
    5. Finally, if you are a model, plan for casting season: Agencies usually ramp up castings in the weeks before fashion weeks. If you do not yet have an agency, you can send us your profile through our free model application form.

Can I attend a fashion week?

In fact, shows on the official schedule are mostly attended by invitation; invitations are sent by fashion houses to the press, buyers and industry representatives. If you are a member of the press, check the accreditation requirements on the relevant organisation’s website before the season begins. As a spectator, however, the easiest route is the livestreams. Taking part as a model, on the other hand, usually requires attending castings through an agency; for choosing an agency, take a look at our guide to model agencies in Türkiye.

The event is organised by the Istanbul Hazır Giyim ve Konfeksiyon İhracatçıları Birliği (IHKIB, the Istanbul Apparel Exporters’ Association). The Istanbul Moda Akademisi, an IHKIB affiliate, also takes part in the programme with young designer showcases such as “New Gen by IMA”.

What do AW and SS mean?

AW stands for Autumn/Winter and SS for Spring/Summer collections. In other words, the February–March weeks show that year’s Autumn/Winter collections, while the September–October weeks show the following year’s Spring/Summer collections.

Practical ways to keep track of the fashion week calendar

Because dates can change from time to time, the most reliable source is always the organising body’s own announcement. Adding the calendar to your own diary, subscribing to the organisations’ newsletters and following their official social media accounts are the easiest ways not to miss changes. That is why we, too, update this page as new announcements come in.

We have told the story of how Istanbul’s fashion week tradition began and where it stands today in our article Istanbul Fashion Week, Then and Now. You can check the current season dates of the Paris fashion weeks directly on the FHCM’s official seasons page.
