We reviewed the style of influencer Dila Tarkan
Influencer Dila Tarkan has been attracting a lot of attention lately, both for her colourful outfits and for her lifestyle. She studied fashion abroad and is also the heir to Dilasima Group.
What’s more, the playful way she brings together colours and pieces in different styles sets her apart. With 159 thousand followers, I think Dila will only keep growing.
Blazers, which have leapt from menswear into the women’s wardrobe over the past few years, have now become a must-have as dresses too. Able to look classic, sporty and masculine, and becoming more feminine depending on their style and cut, blazer dresses are a versatile piece you can easily wear at work and at events. Dila, for example, chose a patterned blazer dress in brown and beige with a feminine gathered detail at the waist for Fashion Week. Her glasses and booties also gave the look an innovative edge.
A grey shirt and cowboy boots for Fashion Week
This year at Istanbul Fashion Week, Dila came to watch the “Sudi Etuz” show at the Unkapanı Record Sellers’ Bazaar. Here she is in a sporty grey shirt gathered at the waist. Her vintage-style glasses with tiny round lenses strengthened the look. She also paired it with a transparent bag with chain detailing and cycling shorts.
But the standout piece of this outfit is definitely the colourful cowboy boots, which bring together different textures. In this way she made the sporty style more elegant and added this trend piece to her outfit. Truly fabulous. Cowboy boots like these are now turning up in stores too. You can opt for different colours like this and make your outfits striking.
A retro-print evening dress
Here Dila shows us an evening style, in a fabulous 80s-style dress with a retro print and a retro cut (gathered details and cuffed sleeves). Wearing exactly the same colour all over (monochrome) lets you draw all eyes at events, especially if you’ve chosen such a vibrant shade. 🙂 Chain belts or belts with unusual buckles are also a detail we’ll keep seeing this year. Her oversized glasses in exactly the same shade of pink give the look a balanced feel.
Monochrome looks will carry on this winter too. So keep wearing head-to-toe matching tones 🙂
The only thing that bothered me here was her bag; had it been in the same shade too, it would have looked truly stunning.. You can also find dresses in this kind of cut in stores and adapt them for events.
And now Dila in a free-spirited street style.. The mix of different fabrics in her oversized shirt takes it beyond plain and gives it a striking look. She completed the sporty vibe of this outfit with cycling shorts and trainers.. It makes for an ultra-comfortable, free-spirited weekend outfit, one to take inspiration from. 😉
Dila in a zebra-print denim set
Adding a pop of yellow made the outfit playful.. This winter we’ll be seeing plenty of shades of yellow: creamy tones, soft yellows and warm yellows.
And here is Dila in head-to-toe purple.
This is probably a travel outfit.
Purple is one of this winter’s colours.. I’d say don’t miss out on purple, lilac or warm and cool shades of purple this year. 😉 Once again, shield sunglasses in the same shade take the outfit out of the ordinary, making it quite modernist and even striking. You can change the whole feel of your outfit in just the same way with big, colourful glasses.
