    Welcome, spring

Hello! After the long, cold winter months, we say welcome to the most joyful season of all, when the sun shows its face, the trees come back to life and colourful flowers bloom.

In this season, people, like nature, come back to life and feel refreshed. That’s why spring is greeted with songs and festivities. The tea and coffee we drink taste different now. And shop windows are decorated once again with colourful clothes. Isn’t shopping one of our favourite activities as women? I don’t know about you, but for me it definitely is. It’s true that I can’t go a few days a week without saying hello to the shopkeepers. Even buying a hair clip makes me happy.

In this season fashion tries to keep pace with nature too: it’s green, blue, purple, red… it’s colourful. (Black is my essential in every season.) This season in particular, pastel clothes, asymmetric collars, puff sleeves, long dresses and skirts are at the forefront. Let’s not forget lace-trimmed satin and leather pieces either. And denim jackets are a spring must-have; they’ve already taken their place in our wardrobes.
Here is the long, strapless blue dress I wore on a lovely Sunday this season when I went out to brunch with my friends. An outfit that’s both comfortable and chic. If you have broad shoulders in particular, you should definitely keep strapless dresses and tops like this in your wardrobe. Paired with hoop earrings or statement necklaces, for example, you get a lovely everyday elegance. Let’s not forget that accessories, which complete our outfits, define our style.

    Tips for narrow shoulders

If you have narrow shoulders, don’t leave your shoulders completely bare; go for pieces with wide straps. That way you’ll emphasise your shoulders and make them look broader. By the way, you shouldn’t be without a biker jacket in your wardrobe — it will make your shoulders look much broader than they are. I think dresses like this look great with trainers, denim jackets, hoop earrings and small bags with long straps. If you’re petite and that bothers you, you can wear wedge sandals with a dress like this.
Spring means colour, so don’t be afraid to mix colours and prints. Not everyone can draw beautifully, but every woman who knows her body and dresses for it can repaint her look like a master painter. In the end, knowing your body and dressing accordingly is the most important step you can take on the road to chic.
Until we meet again, stay very happy and enjoy these beautiful sunny days. Welcome, spring 🙂

Welcome, spring: your wardrobe at the change of season

The first days of spring are the right time to put away heavy winter clothes and bring light pieces to the fore. The pastel shades, puff sleeves and denim jacket we suggest in this article make layering easier, which is especially useful on days that start cool in the morning and turn mild in the afternoon. A denim jacket or biker jacket thrown over a strapless dress also keeps you comfortable in the cool of the evening. The most enjoyable way to say welcome to spring is to rearrange your wardrobe for the season: first bring the pieces you wear most to the front, then add the one or two colourful pieces that are missing.
