How to choose a winter perfume
THE MYSTERY OF WINTER SCENTS
There are a few general rules to keep in mind when choosing a perfume. Of course, it is also very important that the scent we choose appeals to our own taste. For example, spicier scents tend to suit darker skin tones, while for fair skin we should choose soft or floral scents.

So do scents matter according to the season?
Very much so…
Everyone wants to be attractive. To be admired and to catch the eye of the opposite sex is every individual’s dream. To that end, we pay attention to many things, from our grooming to our clothes, the way we speak and our attitude. In my view, one of the most important points is the perfume we choose. Because a perfume should suit our style, our age and our character. It is also worth choosing it according to the season.
How to choose a winter perfume
The thick clothes we wear stop a scent from coming through. That’s why in winter, alongside woody, oriental and spicy scents, you can also opt for musk scents. The most popular choices are perfumes with cinnamon and vanilla essences. In body sprays in particular, scents such as blackberry, fig, honey, sugar and caramel will complement you. As everyone knows, the best place for these is Victoria’s Secret stores.
One of the most important rules to remember is not to overdo it when applying perfume. Because there is no need to become off-putting while trying to be attractive.
Using perfume the right way
My advice is to use a few different scents. For example, when going to an expensive, elegant restaurant, you might wear your more feminine or masculine perfume. But we can’t wear the same scent during a lunch break at work. Softer, simpler scents, on the other hand, will help us attract more attention during the day. Choose carefully the places where your perfume will announce you before you arrive.
As for how to apply perfume, apply it to the skin and the pulse points to make it last longer. You will see that its staying power is considerably longer. You can also apply your eau de parfum to your clothes, though it lasts less long there than on the skin. For sports and activities, use eau de toilette; it is ideal as a light, everyday choice.
What holds perfume on our skin is the skin’s natural oils. So if your skin is dry, also use the matching products from the same line so that the scent’s effect lasts.
