In the author’s writing and stories, Yeşim Kale touches people’s lives in a positive way with a motivating style, and writes about love. In the poems, she brings an inner emotional world to the fore. She also believes that love and kindness will lead people towards good. She loves reading books, writing, listening to music, watching good TV series, taking photographs and going on long walks in green spaces and along the shore. She also loves Kuzguncuk, travelling to Europe, designing jewellery and sharing the photos she takes on social media. “Passion has no yesterday, today or tomorrow. Passion in Yeşim Kale’s designs and writing
The common theme linking Yeşim Kale’s two different fields of work is passion. In the jewellery collections she uses the colours of high jewellery, such as emerald green, sapphire blue and ruby red, bringing them together with lighter materials suited to everyday wear. In the book “Sultanların Aşkı” (The Love of the Sultans), meanwhile, she tells of the passion for power and for love through two female characters: Hürrem Sultan, the lawful wife of Suleiman the Magnificent, and Hümeyra, who lives in the present day.
